Ultimate Technology today announced the acquisition of Uptime, Inc., a leader in multi-vendor Point of Service (POS) maintenance and service support .

A Cleveland, Ohio-based maintenance and service support organization to the POS marketplace, Uptime was founded in 1981 and has since grown to become one of the nation's largest dedicated multi-vendor POS depot service providers. Operating out of a 30,000 square-foot repair and maintenance facility, Uptime serves 9 of the nation's Top 100 retailers in the General, Specialty and Department Store markets as well as many other regional retailers. Uptime will continue operating their depot services from the Cleveland, Ohio facility.
